The Goodie Bag Nightmare
Preparing goodie bags for a kid's birthday party is the most soul-crushing task of the year for me. If I buy candy, the other moms roll their eyes behind my back and whisper about sugar highs. If I buy those 50-cent cheap plastic pull-back cars, they shatter into pieces within five minutes, and then some toddler starts screaming. I am so sick of cleaning up useless plastic garbage. That was until I stumbled across this 6-pack of pop-out grass worms online. They literally saved my sanity.
One pack comes with exactly 6. I decided to test the waters and handed one to my wildly destructive nephew first. He took it, gave it a squeeze, and when the bug's eyes shot out of its head, this kid lost his mind laughing for ten minutes straight! He spent the next hour running around scaring people with it. Later, he dropped it straight into a mud puddle. I figured it was ruined and headed for the trash. Nope! I just ran it under the sink with a little dish soap, and it looked brand new. It doesn't attract dust at all. The material is genius.
The Dads Stole The Toys
But do you want to know the most ridiculous part? On the day of the party, the green worms that I had laid out for the kids were hijacked by the dads! I found three grown men standing in my living room, each holding a green worm, having a competition to see whose bug's eyes could pop out further. I was absolutely speechless.
But honestly? The tactile feel of these things is insanely addictive. It's meaty, soft, and has the perfect amount of squish resistance. Buying them in a 6-pack is the perfect amount for handing out. I highly recommend that any exhausted mother out there stock up on these. They will buy you hours of peace and quiet.
